BEER BREAD MIX - Beer bread has a long history, dating back to the early days of bread making when bakers would use beer to utilize carbonation as a leavening agent. The resulting bread has a slightly sweet, malty flavor that pairs well with a variety of toppings and spreads. Some popular options for serving beer bread include butter, honey, jam, and even savory toppings like cheese or herbs.
Sugar Cane Box (10oz.) INGREDIENTS: Wheat Flour Enriched (niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine, Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid) Malted Barley Flour, Baking Powder, Kosher Salt, and Fines Herbs. Just Add Beer, Honey, and Butter.
Instructions
1 tbsp honey, 3/4 cup beer of your choosing
1 tbsp Fines Herbs, 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan. Combine the mix, honey, beer, Fines Herbs and butter, stirring until fairly smooth; don't worry about a scattering of small lumps.
Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake the bread for 45 to 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted about 1/2" into the top of the loaf comes out clean, or with a few moist crumbs clinging to it. Sliced and enjoy warm!
