Cut Cookie Tips 1. To save time, chill dough in the freezer for 20 minutes. 2. IF dough is too stiff to roll out. Let it sit at room temp until it softens a bit. 3. It's a good idea to roll dough on a lightly floured surface. 4. Cut dough with cookie cutters dipped in flour to avoid sticking. 5. Once cookies are out of the oven, let them cool completely before you decorate or store them. 6. To make your cookies into Holiday decorations, Simply take a straw and use it to poke a hole through the top of the cookie before you bake it. leave at least a 1/4 inch space between the hole and the edge of the cookie. As the cookie bakes it will fortify the hole enough so that you may put a string or wire through it and hang as a decoration.
