As I enjoyed the scenic beauty of the turquoise waters and green hills, we enjoyed cocktails with the local liquer, flavored with lime sugar. With one taste, my taste buds were awakened by the tangy sweetness. From that moment on, I associate the smell and taste of lime sugar with the relaxing experience of winding down, soaking up the sun, and immersing myself in the tropical vibes of Costa Rica.
