NEW ORLEANS BEIGNET MIX - Wrapped Mix (10 oz.)

INGREDIENTS: In a large bag, Wheat Flour Enriched (niacin, reduced iron, thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Malted Barley Flour, Sugar, and Kosher Salt. Active dry yeast in a small bag. JUST ADD Milk, egg, and canola oil.
You will need the contents of this packet and
1 cup milk 1 egg
1 tsp Orange Vanilla Sugar from packet
5 to 6 inches canola oil for frying
Beignet Sugar in a shaker or sifter
Sift the dry ingredients into bowl. Add milk and egg and mix well. Drop by the spoonful into deep oil, heated to 375 degrees. Beignets will flip on their own. Fry until golden and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar.
