VINTAGE UNITED METAL GOODS CLOCK MODEL #701
Despite being made in Brooklyn, New York during the 1950's, this clock will whisk you back to the streets of London during Victorian times. This unique piece features a horse and hansom cab, with driver. As the clock keeps time, the drivers arm moves up and down, gently cracking the whip. Whip action can also easily be turned off by a small lever on the back. In addition to being a clock, this piece has a working "nightlight" lamppost, however over the years the cover for the bulb has gone missing. The reins are original, however they are brittle due to the age and have broken apart. They would be easily replaceable. Whip is not original.
MEASURES 9 1/2"H x 16"L x 4"D
