This recipe is a delightful way to elevate the flavors of seasonal pumpkin by incorporating the aromatic and savory Terra Americana Turkey Trimmings spice blend. - 1 small sugar pumpkin (Hubbard and Butternut Squash also work well)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp Turkey Trimmings or Maple Sugar
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Wash the sugar pumpkin and carefully cut it in half. Scoop out the seeds and stringy pulp. Cut the pumpkin halves into smaller wedges or cubes, about 1-inch thick.
Place the pumpkin pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the pumpkin pieces, ensuring they are well coated. Season with Turkey Trimmings.
Toss the pumpkin to evenly coat with the oil and seasonings. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the pumpkin is tender and slightly caramelized.
