The Legend of the Stockman’s Stone
They say that long ago, when stockmen crossed the Australian Outback by horseback, every camp began the same way—with a fire, a billy boiling over the coals, and whatever simple ingredients could be carried across the dusty country.
One evening, a stockman preparing supper reached for a smooth stone near the fire and used its rough surface to work fresh ingredients into a fragrant mixture for the evening meal.
The other riders soon joked that his “magic stone” could turn a simple trail supper into a feast.
Our ceramic grater dish captures that same spirit of resourcefulness: simple tools, bold flavors, and good food shared around the table.
The Stockman’s Stone is an original Outback-inspired story created for this collection.

Fire up the grill and bring a taste of the Outback to the table.
Caring for Your Ceramic Grater
Rinse your grater soon after use to prevent ingredients from drying into the textured surface.
Wash gently with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air-dry completely.
For stubborn residue, soak the dish in warm water for a few minutes before washing.
Avoid steel wool and harsh abrasives that could damage the ceramic surface.
